Mother's Day Folio Album

Making a gift she'll treasure forever...

One of the best parts of being a crafter is making unique gifts to the ones we love. Something that says "I love you and you were in mind the entire time I was making it" Who wouldn’t like that?

Mother’s Day is simply the perfect occasion to do so. But realistically, with so many important motherly figures in our lives, there’s no time to create a full elaborate mini album to each one...mom, grandma, mother in law, sisters, aunts, best friend…the list just goes on and on. I created this little folio with all of that in mind… simple, easy, fast, but thoughtful. You can probably do 3 or 4 of this little cuties in a couple of days. So no-one would be left out!

For this little folio I’m using 110 lb heavy weight card stock, beautiful design paper (Abigail - Nitwit Collection), laces and flowers. Magnets are optional, you can use other types of closure such as Velcro, ribbon or seem binding. On the front I’m using a beautiful La La Land Stamp, but you could also add a picture.

My idea was to create something a bit more elaborated than a card, but still be able to be displayed on the mantel or coffee table. This little Folio Album stands on it's own like an easel card and it's small enough to fit anywhere.
